| • In order to successfully qualify for the Brain Gain Incentive Package, each applicant must have returned to Albania not earlier than 25 September 2006, and must have gained full-time employment since January 1, 2008 |
| • The applicant must have completed his/her Master and/or PhD at an acreddited university abroad, at an above-average score. Studies should be on a full-time basis |
| • Candidates must be selected for a position on a transparent and competitive basis. In the public administration, this programme supports decision-making roles, at the Head of Sector level and above. In Universities, this programme supports Lecturer positions on a full-time basis |
| • Applicants must first register in the Brain Gain database, via: http://www.braingain.gov.al/register.asp |
| • For the purpose of our Programme, a valid MA / MS is equivalent to a Master program that has 90 ECTS credits; or that has at least 3 full-time semester studies and a comprehensive thesis |
| • Applicants who are interested in employment, must refer to all the vacancy announcement published on the Brain Gain site, or elsewhere -- and must apply directly to the hiring institutions |
| • In order to qualify for the Brain Gain Programme, applicants MUST HAVE NOT graduated from a joint accademic programme (modular); from an online programme, or from a satellite campuses programme |
| • In order to qualify for the Brain Gain Incentive Package, applicants must have not receive support from the Excellence Fund or other incentive schemes financed by the state budget |
